St. Anthony’s Senior Center, originally located in Fournier Hall on Howland Street, was founded in 1971. It has been housed on Tenth Street, after the renovation of the Armory in 1992. It is conveniently located a few blocks from the Dart #8 bus route; and only 8 blocks from the I-95 exit at Delaware Avenue.

The Senior Center is a non-profit United Way of Delaware affiliate member, which receives funds through "Designated Donations" only.

St. Anthony’s Senior Center is a multi-purpose Center offering services and activities in several program areas to anyone 55 years of age and older:

Services:

  • Transportation in a wheelchair accessible vehicle to and from the Senior Center, to and from medical appointments, to the grocery store and banking.

  • The Center is equipped with a gift shop and full service Beauty Salon.

  • Support services that include health screenings, prescription "pick-up" at Nemours Health Clinic, Elder-Info Counseling, "Care Giver Resource" information and individual case management and referrals.
